Our Gdańsk!

It's me again!
And I write about another tourist city - I know it can be a litle borring topic, but I was a few days ago in Gdańsk and I must say you something about it!
Gdańsk is a beautiful city in the north part of Poland, at the seaside.
I was there a few years ago - in the summer, and this time I was in this place in the spring.
The sea was so cold, but it wasn't obstacle to dabble me food and hunting a seashell! I found one strange seashell, and I hope you fild beautiful seashells too!

Gdańsk is one city in the Tri-City (with Sopot and Gdynia). It's the biggest city in north Poland.
I visit there big pier in Sopot.

In Gdańsk I visit a historical place named Westerplatte. In this peninsula in 1926-1939 was some military buildings and in 1939 this place was striked in World War Two. Now we can see there historic exhibition and memorials.

 

 

You can see a strange building in Sopot - a croocked house.

 

I recomend you beautiful sunrise and sunset! It's the best views in this place! I don't inset pictures from this spectacular views to motivate you to see this in person!:)
You must visit museum of Solidarność whitch say you more about Polisch history!!!

All three towns (Sopot, Gdańsk, Gdynia) are beautiful and full of amazing places! I can't visit all this places so I can't say about all of them...:( You must forgive me this!

Robert Janson - Małe szczęścia (The small happinesses)

Another Polish song recommendation for you – my translating mood hasn’t faded yet ;) I really like songs like this one – warm, with a wise and optimistic message. The singer’s voice is very calming and smooth too! I used to listen to this one all the time when I was younger. Feel free to laught at the music video - it was recorded many years ago and right now looks downright hilarious ^^

I generally prefer male voices and whenever I hear nice song somewhere I’m immediately checking  if it’s possible to find a male version of it too. For example “Jolene” – I had great trouble with this one. Of course this doesn’t  mean I don’t appreciate the original female artist, I listen to them just as often.

As you might have noticed, I still can’t add subtitles directly to the video on youtube. I’m not even sorry anymore, I will learn that one day and change it then :)

Hello!!!

I’m very very sorry that I haven’t written anything recently but Easter took all my time!

At University we had got a lot of work so I tried to do everything on time and hadn't got time for anything else...

But today I found a few minutes to tell you something about a beautiful, big Polish city where I am lucky to live... I am sure that you heard something about Kraków, but I’ll show you that this city implied some beautiful places which are hard to find on your own.

I don't spin a story about city’s history because you can read about it in books or in internet. I can say that this city is very lively and you won’t be bored if you will be here.

You can walk down the Wisła river and admire beauty of a Wawel Castle or other antiquities.

You can walk in Jewish part of Kraków called „Kazimierz”.

But you can also visit one of three mounds and see panorame of the city.

I recommend beautiful green part of town named „Zakrzówek”. It's a perfect place to ride a bike or just walk. Courses of diving take place in this areal.

Kraków offeres some beautiful museums. One of them shows a phisics in differend way ;) You can manipulate all of the things you find there! It's a perfekt place not only for your child, I had fun there too!!! :)
